Former Alabama governor and United States senator Braxton Bragg (B.B.) Steve attended Burlington High School, where he ran track and played football, graduating in 1973. Many knew of Mel from her video In My Language, which she created as an act of DD [developmental disability] solidarity, illustrating how non-standard ways of being in the world were as deep, rich, and as valid as those experienced by non-disabled people. Among his survivors are his son, Bryce Greene and brother John G. Greene, and many friends. He graduated from Champlain Valley Union High School and attended Champlain College.
